An American icon, the Chevrolet Corvette is instantly recognizable whenever it goes flying past on the road. Sports car enthusiasts may be curious what’s been updated for the new model year that differentiates it from the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette. While performance remains largely the same, there have been some exciting updates in other areas. Here are the details.
Classic Performance
With both the 2023 and 2024 models you’re getting the unbridled performance that the Chevrolet Corvette built its name on. Each model features a 6.2-liter V8 engine roaring with 490 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. In the 2024 model, that enables a zero to 60 time of 2.9 seconds when equipped with the available Z51 Performance Package.
Exterior Design Updates
Each model carries forward the aerodynamic, exotic design that makes the Chevrolet Corvette such a head-turner. New for 2024 is a more aggressive fascia with LED headlights, giving it a fresh, modernized look. In addition, new paint options include Riptide Blue Metallic, Cacti Green, and Sea Wolf Gray.
Updated Interior and Technology
Both the 2024 and 2023 Chevrolet Corvette have driver-centric cockpits constructed of premium materials. Each features wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ plus a Bose® premium audio system. The 2024 model does feature a few upgrades, offering one extra interior color option and an electronic rear-view mirror now standard. The new model year also makes several safety features standard, such as lane-keeping assist and automated emergency braking.
