Two trims comprise the 2025 Chevy Equinox EV lineup with two powertrains available. The standard system, which features a single electric motor and front-wheel drive (FWD), outputs 220 horsepower. Both trims can upgrade to a dual-motor setup with all-wheel drive (AWD) that achieves 300 horsepower. These are increases of 7 horsepower and 12 horsepower, respectively, over last year’s powertrains.
