Heritage and Horsepower in the 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport
Carrying one of the most recognized names in racing history, the 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport enters the mid-engine era with a brand new LS6 6.7-liter V8. Lester Glenn Chevrolet breaks down both the rear-wheel-drive Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport and the all-wheel-drive Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport X.
Power and Performance
Shared across both configurations of this new Chevy Corvette, the LS6 6.7-liter V8 displaces 409 cubic inches with a 13.0:1 compression ratio and 95-mm throttle body, producing 535 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque, the most that any naturally aspirated V8 has produced in Corvette history. Power reaches a 6,600-rpm redline through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, with Magnetic Ride Control™ and an electronic limited-slip differential standard. The 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport X adds a front electric motor for 721 combined horsepower and all-wheel-drive capability, with near-instant torque at the front axle.
Technology Features
Magnetic Ride Control™ is standard across every 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport configuration, with two performance packages available to dial in your performance level. The Z52 Sport Performance Package upgrades to Brembo® iron brakes from the Corvette Z06, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tires, and Performance Traction Management. The Z52 Track Performance Package steps up to carbon-ceramic Brembo® brakes, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires, and a quad center-exit exhaust. On the Grand Sport X, three Power Modes, Endurance, Qualifying, and Push-to-Pass, let you control how the combined 721 horsepower is deployed.
Safety Features
Every 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport includes Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, and Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking. Rear Park Assist, IntelliBeam® automatic high beams, a Rear Camera Mirror, and an HD Rear Vision Camera are also available. You can add Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and an HD Front and Rear Vision Camera with front curb view for additional visibility around the vehicle. Tire Pressure Monitoring with tire fill alert is included on every model.
